Rockford, IL has this habit of hiring stupid superintendents. Every winter season,there's the threat of dangerous snow, cold temperatures, and of course wind. EVERY winter season, parents and children growl at the superintendent for not giving a crap. Most of the time, we still have school even though most of us are up to our arses in snow. I'm personally one of the lucky ones now because my mom can drive me to the bus stop. But when i was in 2nd-7th grade, i had to walk. And in 3,4,and 5th grade i had to walk three long blocks to get to my bus stop. I live in a pretty wealthy neighborhood where no one is willing to shovel their snow. I give mad props to my mom and my neighbors across the street because they always do. But back then i seriously got stuck in the snow. Oh the white fluffy stuff.

Yesterday there was a concert. Didn't get home until 10:30. I ate dinner and started the homework. If there wouldn't have been a snow day, I would have had maybe 1/10 of my assignments done and no sleep at all.

I still think the new superintendent is stupid though. I'm pretty sure that the city should just divide the rights up among the principals instead of paying this one crazy lady to run it. Schools know what's best for them on an individual basis.

I slept in, ate breakfast, cleaned up my room a little, helped shovel snow, then hit more homework. Now i'm just doing nothing. More homework later XD

I know i have a LOT of entries to fill in. I always get behind during the school year.

Eeps, I'm almost horrified that I haven't stuck on a story update here in more than a month, but unfortunately, I just haven't been in the mood for it, although this really has nothing to do with the story posts here, but my own feelings about this story in general.... Seriously, I want to finish this story SOOO badly, since I'm getting so tired of it and that feeling I've had ever since I put the thing on hiatus three years ago (ie. What the HELL was I thinking when I thought writing this sort of story would be a good idea? -_____-) is only getting stronger. Seriously, though, what WAS I thinking when I decided to start something like this, both in terms of subject content and style? I hate myself sometimes... and feel horrified and ashamed on top of that. Harumph!! I have so much ideas for future "projects" and yet I have to finish this first, because if I don't, I'll never get it done and that... that would be a waste of nearly two years and 700 pages of writing. *cries* Go, go Mimi, you can do it!! *not very convinced*

Anyways~ this past weekend went downtown for Christmas shopping mayhem, although it wasn't still so psychotically crazy yet. Maybe it was too cold and people ran to the malls instead... I don't know. Still, that's pretty much it. I really wish I had more to share, but nope, that will be all from me today. ;)
